READING REHEARSAL: ON ABOLITION

In the exhibition BECOMING UNCOMMON SUBJECTS by Werker Collective, a selection of materials from their archive on the topic of Abolition is on display together with a series of readers convened under the same topic. The exhibition has been conceived as an open space for knowledge production and shared practice with two specific moments of public activation. On October 4, we invite you the first activation: a reading rehearsal on Abolition. The exhibition explores the potential of Abolition as a framework to think of the phaseout systems of oppression and possibilities to reclaim and redefine work. In the rehearsal, we will read and discuss texts and images together, without preconceived conclusions nor prerequired knowledge on the topic of Abolition.
