Opening two new exhibitions at RADIUS: THE GLASS CITY and OSCAR SANTILLÁN: A HEAVY HALO

RADIUS presents two exhibitions simultaneously from May 27 to August 20. THE GLASS CITY is the second exhibition of the NATURECULTURES year program, making an exploration of the Westland and providing insight into the relationship between agriculture, technological innovation and transformation, the relationship between natural and artificial, economy and ecology, and the future of food production through the work of eight artists. In the solo exhibition A HEAVY HALO, artist Oscar Santillán investigates and reconsiders material, linguistic and technological entities and relationships in the formation of worldviews. By involving artificial intelligence, Andean knowledges, cybernetics, and science fiction, Santillán inscribes a plurality of philosophical and material lores onto a political ecology of agencies.
